seaside park

Seaside Park is a very busy park buzzing with activity off to the side of Otahuhu. Oxcon CLL has been contracted to complete coastal Seawall construction work around the entire perimeter of the park to both repair old seawalls and add new rock revetments where they have been eroded or washed away.

The coastal project involves adding a large amount of high-quality boulders to protect the coastal edge of the park – which is a closed landfill. At the far end of the park a new Saltmarsh and rock reef will be installed to create new habitats for local fauna.  

Working closely with our key subcontractors Oxcon CLL are targeting a successful job focusing on all aspects of Safety (for the park users), Environmental (both existing and future) and Quality (protecting the edge of the park for many years to come).
